Hockey Hall of Fame
May 31, 2008 - 14.53Day 4 in Toronto, I woke up early to follow Zuka to downtown where I’ll be staying at Leomir’s place for the night. I’m flying to New York the next day and it was more convenient to get to the airport from this friend’s place. There’s an airport shuttle bus stop across the street. We arrived there around 9 and Zuka headed off to work. I chilled a bit at Leomir’s place before we headed out to grab something to eat.
This breakfast reminds me of Mel’s.
We were planning to head to Centre Island. On the way to the ferry, we passed by the Hockey Hall of Fame. As two fellow hockey fans, we decided to make a stop there.
Entrance to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Some old goalies that I have no idea who they were.
Cujo! One of my favourite goalies.. until he sucked.
Leafs and Sens jersery.. Don’t really remember what this display was about.
Two huge statue of Cyclone Taylor and Ken Dryden near the entrance.
According to my notes… Bill Mosienko (or I could be totally wrong.)
Patrick Roy! Another awesome goalie. Goalies are my favourite players for some reason.
Look at Pat Quinn.

Somehow there was a Habs locker room in the middle of the displays. They just recently lost to the Flyers in the playoffs. My friend is a fan of the Habs.

Don’t remember what this was.
Peter Bondra’s bloody jersey.
Familiar names…
The next great one?

Interesting looking jerseys.
Leomir the goalie!
Don’t remember what these displays were of. I think it’s some fan picked players of the year or something.

This was the door we tried to enter through when we saw the Hockey Hall of Fame sign on it. It’s locked. The actual entrance is more hidden in the basement of the mall / building beside it.

The Stanley Cup! At first there was a staff photographer there taking pictures of people with the cup. We thought we could only get a picture through that guy, which I think is a rip off. But turns out we can just take photos on our own. Awesome!
