Early Mother’s Day Celebration

Since I’ll be taking off on a plane in a couple of hours and won’t be back until the end of the month, we decided to have an early celebration of Mother’s Day. We had a dim sum lunch in the afternoon. For dinner, we went for Mongolian hot pot.

This was our mushroom soup base. The other choice included the ‘original’ (which was kind of a Chinese herbal soup), spicy, extra spicy, and fish broth.

Lamb shoulder slices.

Beef slices. They were awesome! Very flavourful.

Five kinds of balls. (That sounds weird..) Veggies.

Two kinds of mushrooms.

Rice noodles.

We each ordered a sour prune juice.
