Wii Wheel Available Separately for $14.99

There’s still a month before Mario Kart Wii is release. The Wii Wheel, which is to be bundled with the game, can be bought separately for those party gamers out there. This week’s GameStop flyer revealed the accessory priced at $14.99. Prior to this white steering wheel, there had already been plenty of third party Wiimote add-on accessories available. I use the black wheel from Ubisoft for NFS Carbon. It actually does make the controlling better, in my opinion. Despite mediocre reviews, I enjoyed that game with the wheel. However, Mario Kart Wii will be a totally different style of game play. I’m still contemplating on getting the game or not. At least, I won’t have to worry about buying extra wheels if I do end up purchasing the game.
On a somewhat unrelated matter, I just realized today that Nintendo’s WFC for the DS only supports WEP encryption. Now that I’ve switched to WPA, I can’t use it anymore. Well.. not that I do online play that much anyways. Incidentally, my first online experience with the DS is Mario Kart.
