Super Mario Galaxy Here!

I picked up my copy of Super Mario Galaxy today. Unfortunately, they ran out of the complementary commemorative coin that comes with pre-order copies. I’ll get it when they restock (or so the cashier says).

I played it a bit and it has been pretty fun. It can played by up to two people. One main player will control Mario and the secondary player can collect stars, stun monsters by pointing the Wiimote at the screen. I guess I’ll have a more thorough review later when I spend more time on it.

Update: Oh, I forget to mention that the game required the latest system firmware. I didn’t read the instruction booklet before starting (who does?). And from the Wii menu, it looked like the game wasn’t loading. I freaked for a bit before clicking into the game channel where the system update message popped up and everything went on fine from then.
